It doesn't have the construction or board feel of the brand's higher models (Cypress, Hemlock), but it costs a lot less. The baseplate contacts the board over a wide area, so underfoot feels solid and doesn't flex much. The highback is on the stiff side and doesn't twist much. Without heel loop adjustment the range is narrower than the higher models, but gas pedal adjustment fills that gap.
