The Force was popular enough that when the new version came out, the old one was kept on under a new name. Carving ability is above average for the price and the rest is respectable. The reviewer's take is that it's long been the sensible choice for anyone wanting carving performance while spending as little as possible. Pairs with boards 4–7/10 flex.

A binding with response, support and adjustment range all covered. It damps vibration less than the Atlas but absorbs impact better. The highback twists at medium to medium-soft while being medium-stiff when you lean straight back. Flex underfoot doesn't reach the top of Union's line (the Ultra), but it sits in the group where the board flexes naturally, on par with Burton's Cartel and Malavita Re:Flex.
