The highback is soft and twists easily, so it doesn't bite your calf while keeping the response alive. The response is more middling than expected, and above all it's symmetrically smooth left and right. Despite all the plastic in its construction, impact absorption is above average. The straps are hard to do up, though, the adjustment range isn't wide, and the toe strap stretches the more you tighten it.
