A binding whose character changes completely when you flip the ankle strap. Set to the supportive orientation, it drives most boards with a response close to the Phantom's; flipped the other way, it becomes a relaxed binding for park and mountain freestyle. The airbag construction takes landing impact well. The highback sits on the border between medium and medium-stiff, and there's enough padding that it doesn't bite your calf.

Good

  • Flipping the ankle strap switches it between supportive and freestyle character
  • The airbag construction absorbs landing impact well — flat landings hurt less
  • Plenty of highback padding, so it doesn't bite your calf
  • The ankle strap is wider and more supportive than the standard Team's

Not so good

  • It doesn't flex underfoot as much as a mini-disc binding — the rigid plastic firms it up a little
  • Vibration damping falls short of the Phantom family
