Its forged carbon, disc-less construction puts it at half the weight of a Union Force (1.05 kg), and a pair of these weighs less than a single Nidecker Supermatic. The trade-off is clear, though: the highback is very stiff with almost no twist or give, and adjusting it is a real chore. Rotating the highback means pulling the heelcup off and turning it, and changing forward lean means undoing screws and swapping parts.
