The Contact Pro developed into something plusher. It's light at around 820 g each. The distinctive part is that the highback isn't uniformly stiff — medium on the outside, very soft on the inside — which makes it feel soft and twisty overall and gives it the least calf bite of any highback the reviewer has worn. Underfoot uses a new plastic/EVA/rubber blend that makes buttering even easier than on the Strata or Falcor. The response isn't at the top of Union's line, but it was far better than expected.
