A binding the reviewer got as a demo and liked enough to keep — something they only do with favourites. The highback recalls the Force of ten years ago but is rebuilt with a modern flex pattern: soft at the top, widening and stiffening about 2 cm down. The twist and the give up top are good enough that it never bit their calf. The 2024 redesign improved the response, and a new gas pedal raised toe-side response so it's now symmetrical.

- —On rough snow the Atlas holds an edge more quietly
- —The Strata, Ultra or Falcor are better if you want more buttering
