At around 740 g each, it's by far the lightest Step On binding (the Genesis Re:Flex Step On is 850 g, the Union Atlas Step On 880 g). It weighs about as much as a splitboard binding, yet it rides light with no rattly feeling. Since Step On highbacks don't rotate, you have to rely on twist instead — and this model has plenty of twist and give. Forward lean adjusting by turning, with no screws, is a clear advantage over the Atlas.
