A beginner-to-intermediate boot, soft at around 4 out of 10, with a single dial. Your ankles stay free so the board tips with less effort, and you're less likely to catch the opposite edge the way you can in a stiff boot.
The liner heat moulds too. The catch is that with only one dial you can't tighten the instep and shin separately.
