An all-mountain boot just a touch stiffer than average (6.5–7/10). It's useful for carving without being a tank at low speed, and it suits people who struggle with heel lift in particular. The fit is good straight out of the box, and the ankle is somewhat snug without being uncomfortable. Exactly medium width, true to size.

At around 900 g it's light, which makes hiking easier and keeps your feet from feeling heavy on the lift. It was substantially reworked for 26/27: a TPU skin spreading from near the flex point into the spine and heel improves shape retention, and the toe material switched to a hybrid rubber. The new shell and liner move closer to the Deadbolt, and an E-width foot fit straight out of the box with no heat moulding.
