26/27 season review

The flex sits right on the line between medium and medium-stiff, with response matched to it, so it drives almost any board without overpowering it. Even an E-width foot didn't feel tight on day one, and the early pressure on the instep and Achilles went away within a few days. The TLS lacing makes getting in and out very fast with no heel lift, and if the speed lace snaps you can replace it with a normal lace.

Suits intermediate to expert riders

Good

  • Medium to medium-stiff flex that suits almost any board
  • TLS lacing makes it very fast to get in and out of, with no heel lift
  • If the speed lace snaps you can swap in a normal lace, so you don't lose the day
  • Not tight on an E-width foot even on day one
  • Well-made liner that takes heat moulding well

Not so good

  • The TLS lace can occasionally tangle
  • Some early pressure on the instep and Achilles (it goes away within a few days)
