24/25 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A mid-stiff directional freeride board using the C3 hybrid camber profile, delivering outstanding performance in carving and banked slalom in particular. Stability and pop are excellent, and it provides dependable edge grip across varied all-mountain settings including trees and bumps.
It comes strongly recommended to intermediate and advanced riders who enjoy speed and want to turn aggressively.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
GNU's C3 camber profile is camber-dominant with a small reverse-camber (rocker) section blended in between the feet. It keeps camber's drive, pop and power while the reverse-camber section adds foot steerability and manoeuvrability.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A mid-stiff directional flex with a nose slightly softer than the tail. The camber zone is concentrated toward the tail, making it the source of power and pop; buttering is possible to a degree but meets resistance.

Intermediate · Advanced
A mid-stiff flex and directional design suit riders with a degree of skill — this is a board for those who want to build speed aggressively and carve hard. For beginners, its character is too hard and too specialised.
What the review liked
- ✓Excellent carving performance, handling every size of carve from short turns to Euro carves stably
- ✓High stability and damping even on rough snow and bumpy terrain
- ✓Strong tail pop gives it excellent ollies and snap
- ✓The tapered design lifts the nose well on landing for stable touchdowns
- ✓Outstanding edge grip and performance in banked slalom in particular
What the review found lacking
- —Resistance in both nose and tail when buttering means it isn't a top-tier butter board
- —The tail's short sweet spot means tail butters take more effort
- —Optimised for aggressive riding rather than cruising, which can be demanding for casual riders
