The Nitro Fintwin is a short, wide board built on around 4cm of strong taper and a directional design, letting you enjoy surfy float and slash turns in powder. A camber-based hybrid profile gives it excellent pop and drive, and its capability on irregular snow is better than its class, but back-foot-centred turning is essential on groomers and it's recommended to advanced riders and above. It can be an especially fun choice for surf-style advanced riders who enjoy powder on moderate-to-steep pitches.

Hybrid camber
A camber construction running to the tail (Cam Out Profile), arching from the middle to under the back foot, with a touch of early rise (rocker) applied at the nose tip — a hybrid camber profile.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Neither soft nor super-stiff overall — an upper-intermediate flex. The nose is comparatively soft so buttering is possible, while it stiffens toward the tail for excellent pop and drive. It has a rubbery, lively pop character.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Camber that's strongly felt underfoot and a technical character mean beginners and intermediates face a high risk of catching an edge. Even strong intermediates need some adaptation; it mainly suits advanced to expert-level riders.
Good
- ✓Around 4cm of strong taper delivers excellent powder float and a surfy turn feel
- ✓It absorbs impacts and shows stability well for a short board on irregular snow (bumps, wet snow and so on)
- ✓Strong pop and drive from the camber provide good propulsion at turn completion
- ✓With a back-foot-centred setup, carving/turn balance is better than expected
Not so good
- —Centre or front-foot-centred turns don't work well on groomers, so a back-foot-centred turning style is essential
- —Speed retention and float can be insufficient in deep powder on low-angle terrain
- —The technical camber character carries edge-catch risk for beginner and intermediate riders
- —Base glide is merely decent for the price, not exceptional
