24/25 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A fully directional carving-specialised board built on traditional camber, delivering deep, flowing carve performance through Grip Tech. Edge release on icy snow and a lack of high-speed stability are drawbacks, so it's recommended to intermediate and above riders who enjoy the Japanese snow-surfing style and want to focus on carving.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Camber
An authentic camber construction with a traditional camber arch from contact point to contact point, providing strong loading, pop, snap and drive.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
Slightly stiffer than medium, with appropriate stiffness without being a full plank. Fully directional, it's soft at the nose and stiffens toward the tail, and torsional stiffness gives a touch of rebound too.

Rider levels suggested in the review
Intermediate · Advanced
The flex is above medium and it requires nuanced technique in edge control and weight distribution. Adapting to its particular riding style — steering by throwing your hips toward the nose, for instance — means it isn't suited to beginners.
What the review liked
- ✓Grip Tech gives outstanding edge lock-in, enabling deep trench carving
- ✓Provides the strong pop and snap characteristic of traditional camber
- ✓A soft nose that favours nose press tricks such as nose butters and nose roll 360s
- ✓Optimised for the flowing, sweeping carves of the Japanese snow-surfing style
What the review found lacking
- —Nose chatter at high speed in a straight line reduces stability
- —The edge releases easily on icy boilerplate snow
- —Pop rebound drops noticeably when you enter on an edge rather than a flat base
- —The tail is stiff enough that tail butters are nearly impossible
