A Japanese-style powder board optimised for low-angle deep powder and tree riding, delivering outstanding playfulness and manoeuvrability on powder pillows through a short, wide volume-shift design and strong nose rise. Short, quick carves are possible on groomers, but there are limits in crud and at speed — it comes strongly recommended as a backcountry board specialised for deep powder tree riding.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid rocker
A rocker-based hybrid profile with slight camber between the feet and nearly half the board made up of rise. Strong early rise (at SC camber levels) and 3D shaping at the nose maximise powder float and turning ability.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A soft-to-medium flex overall, suited to playful, cruisy riding, and softer and more supple than the Storm Chaser.
Where it shines
Who it suits
A board specialised for powder tree riding and backcountry; its wide profile and short effective edge can be unstable on crud or at speed, so some experience is needed. It isn't suited to beginners.
Good
