The Yonex Thrust is a carving board combining a semi-hammerhead shape with high torsional stiffness. High-speed stability is its strength, described as 'the heavy cutting feel of a thick-bladed nata', and Stavera carbon lets it handle rough snow too. It suits advanced riders who want carving that pushes forward stably rather than precise handling.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid camber
A hybrid camber with a semi-hammerhead shape and a flat zone only at the nose. The tail is designed stiffer for aggressive carving response. Vibration-absorbing 'Stavera' carbon raises stability on rough snow, and the somewhat long effective edge handles everything from short to long turns in a balanced way.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A hard flex at 8 out of 10. Torsional stiffness in particular is high, giving the sensation of a thick-bladed hatchet cutting in with weight. It resists twisting more strongly than the SYMARC.
Where it shines
Who it suits
For advanced riders. You need a solid back-foot position, and riders who over-weight the front foot will find it hard to handle. It fits riders who carve aggressively.
