A quiver board specialised for arcing carves on groomed slopes. Its official flex is a medium 6/10, and its character is defined by the turn rebound created by a tight sidecut and pop rather than by stiffness. Carving and edge grip are top-tier, but powder and park are effectively given up and turn initiation is slow, making it unsuitable as a daily driver. It's for upper-intermediate riders who can give up a slot in the quiver for carving alone.

Base shape (camber)

Camber

The traditional camber Jones calls 'True Medium Camber', giving 4–5mm of camber between the inserts. It secures responsiveness and grip while restraining the amount of camber so it isn't hard to handle at low speed. A tight sidecut radius is the core of this board's character.

StiffnessHigher means stiffer

6/10

Jones officially rates it 6/10, 'medium and balanced'. It's soft yet keeps its pop alive, so the rebound out of turns is strong. It isn't the extremely stiff carving board people often assume.

Who it suits

New
Intermediate
Advanced

Jones lists it as including beginners, but turn initiation is slow and performance only comes when you commit it properly onto the edge and push, so in practice it fits intermediates and up whose aim is carving. It's a carving quiver board, not a daily driver.

Good

  • Top-level carving on groomed slopes (carving 5/5) — the sensation of arcing a circle is outstanding
  • Near top-tier edge grip (5/5)
  • The tight sidecut accelerates the back half of the turn and slingshots you out
  • Good base glide (4/5)

Not so good

  • A very one-dimensional board — not suited as a daily driver
  • Weak in powder (2/5), and on the lower end even within Jones's freeride line
  • Slow turn initiation, which feels frustrating if you want immediate response
  • Jibbing and pipe are effectively impossible
