The 2026 Nitro Women's Optisym is an approachable freestyle board combining an asymmetric twin shape with hybrid camber, optimised for playful riding of all kinds including buttering, jibbing and carving. A newly adopted centred Eco Speed HD base greatly improves speed and durability, and it's strongly recommended to riders from beginner-intermediate level through to those who enjoy relaxed riding. It's a board focused on maximising the fun of snowboarding, built on a design philosophy of not having to be intimidated.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid camber
Traditional cam-out camber sits underfoot with early lift applied at the nose and tail tips — a hybrid camber construction. The camber underfoot provides stability and pop, while the lifted tips improve forgiveness and buttering play.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A soft-to-medium flex with a soft midsection that eases buttering and jibbing and comparatively stiff tip and tail. A Whiplash core profile makes it thin between the bindings and thick at the ends, so presses are easy while pop stays ample.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Designed as an unintimidating, friendly freestyle board, it's plenty of fun even at low speed. Edge control and turn initiation are easy, suiting beginners and intermediates, while advanced riders may find its performance somewhat lacking.
