The Ride MTNpig is a high-performance freeride deck with a hybrid construction combining nose rocker and camber, holding powerful pop, carving and powder float. High stiffness and damping allow stable high-speed riding even on rough snow, but it's a board optimised for powerful hard chargers rather than playful styles. It's strongly recommended to riders with intermediate-to-advanced-level fitness and technique.

Hybrid camber
An 'Extra Camber' construction with rocker at the nose and camber across the rest of the board. The camber section provides pop, snap and propulsion, while the nose rocker improves ease of turn entry and exit and powder float.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A directional flex with a comparatively soft nose; stiffness rises from the camber-rocker junction to just ahead of the back foot, and the tail is stiff. High torsional stiffness means twisting takes considerable force, and damping on edge is excellent.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Twisting and engaging the edge require strong knees and ankles, and its high stiffness demands a powerful riding style. Designed for hard chargers and full freeride riders, it isn't suited to beginners and intermediates.
Good
- ✓Excellent stability and damping performance punch hard through rough snow such as crust, death cookies and chop
- ✓Naturally loaded camber makes pop and snap powerful with minimal effort, enabling high airs
- ✓Edge grip is powerful and it responds supply to short, medium and long carves alike
- ✓Powder float and high-speed stability are both excellent at once
Not so good
- —High stiffness makes it unsuitable for playful riding such as buttering and tricks
- —Strong resistance during nose presses demands a lot of weight transfer and force, raising the barrier to entry
- —Riders with smaller feet may find edge-to-edge agility lacking
