The Nitro Cinema is an all-mountain freestyle board that delivers excellent fun in buttering, presses, jibbing and light park riding thanks to its Gullwing profile (reverse camber mixed with camber). On the other hand, high-speed stability and aggressive carving performance are limited, so it isn't suitable for riders who want the strong drive feel of full camber. It's a reasonable option for progressing intermediates who want to enjoy varied terrain on one board and pursue playful riding.

Hybrid rocker
Nitro's Gold Wing (Gullwing) camber profile: reverse rocker in the centre between the feet with camber underfoot (the insert zone). The tip and tail are soft, the reverse camber between the feet provides a flexible flex point for buttering and jibbing, and pop comes from the rear camber section.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Designed as a middle-of-the-road flex, but the reverse camber section between the feet in the Gullwing camber makes the perceived flex softer. The camber sections are comparatively stiff, the tip and tail soft, and torsional flex is abundant.
Where it shines
Who it suits
A board for progressing intermediates, suiting riders who want one board to cover all-mountain and prefer a more playful ride than full camber. It lacks stability at speed and on rough terrain and is vulnerable to back-seat landings, so it isn't suited to advanced riders or hard carvers, and its camber profile makes it rather demanding for beginners.
Good
- ✓Buttering and presses are very easy — the reverse camber sections provide an ideal flex point, making nose/tail presses intuitive
- ✓Turn initiation is very easy — turns start with power-steering-level lightness, and ankle steering favours short, fast turns
- ✓It provides skate-like consistent pop — pop occurs naturally without thinking about it
- ✓Jibbing is easy — nose/tail locks come easily, making it especially manageable for jib beginners
Not so good
- —High-speed and rough-terrain stability is lacking — vibration and bucking are severe in rutted terrain or at speed, and it's hard to control without bending your knees
- —Aggressive carving has limits — washout occurs when driving hard off the tail, making hard railing difficult
- —It's weak at sideways jibbing — the reverse camber pushes the board toward the front or back foot, making a centred lock on features difficult
- —Jump use has limits — it suits small-to-medium jumps (up to around 6m), with high wheelie-out risk on backseat landings
