The Spread AX-F is a board produced by Shinji Ogawa, close to being dedicated to ground tricks and freestyle. Soft camber at a flex rating of 3 with greatly reduced swing weight optimises it for spins and butter tricks, and being softer than the AX, spins come around better. It can carve too, but it isn't a high-speed carving deck — it's a board for riders centred on ground tricks who also move into the park.

Camber
A twin-tip shape on a camber profile. Based on the LTA-F, it extends the effective edge and optimises flex balance, raising both turn performance and spin efficiency in tricks. Hinoki and paulownia cores keep it light while producing high rebound. Steel edges, a convex sole and Edge Darling supplement edge grip and turn stability.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
3 out of 10, on the soft side. The key is that it's tuned softer than the higher-end AX to raise spin performance. Making the centre's flex and torsion supple improves handling, while stiffness is maintained outside the nose and tail to retain rebound.
