24/25 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The 2025 Jones Youth Ultra Prodigy is a youth all-mountain board for talented young riders, delivering versatile performance from trees to park through a Cam-Rock profile and a directional twin shape. A stiffer flex and faster base than the standard Prodigy optimise it for skilled young riders, and a 3D contour base and high-polymer materials cover durability and speed together.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid rocker
A Cam-Rock profile blending centre camber with rocker at the tips — a hybrid rocker construction providing float and pop at once.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex providing confident control, stiffer than the standard Prodigy. It responds stably in both all-mountain and freestyle use.

Rider levels suggested in the review
Intermediate · Advanced
A board for talented young riders, designed for solid performers whose skill outpaces their age. With a harder flex than the standard Prodigy, it suits intermediate and above riders rather than beginners.
What the review liked
- ✓The Cam-Rock profile secures pop and float at once
- ✓The 3D contour base and centred 8000 base provide fast glide and excellent durability
- ✓The directional twin shape handles both freestyle and switch riding
- ✓Basalt stringers add extra pop
What the review found lacking
- —A youth-only board, so it isn't suitable for adult riders
- —Its stiffer flex than the standard Prodigy can be somewhat demanding for complete beginners
