The Nidecker Megalight goes back to the early 2000s, and the 2026 model brings the magic back with massively more camber and a new damp-but-light construction. It is very set back and directional — a versatile one-board quiver for directional riders who want big mountain but turny, with lots of setback float.

The Nidecker Megalight is a high-performance freeride all-mountain board that achieves light weight and stiffness at once through titanium boosters and carbon stringers. High-speed stability, powerful carving and powder float are excellent, and its light weight makes the handling feel relatively supple despite a stiff flex. Slight chatter is detectable in slush conditions, but it's a board to recommend strongly to advanced riders in powder and all-mountain settings.

A Surfy Cam-Rock profile with camber between the feet and early rise (rocker) at the nose. A ZeroG nose raises buoyancy in powder.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A titanium booster and carbon stringers realise high stiffness. It's rated 4–5 out of 5 on the brand's own stiff scale, but the weight reduction eases the perceived stiffness somewhat.
Where it shines
Who it suits
High stiffness of 4–5 out of 5 and an aggressive character specialised for high-speed carving and freeriding suit advanced riders. For beginners or intermediates it's rather aggressive to handle.
Good
