23/24 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The 2024 Public Jibgurl is a soft, playful park-centred board carrying Danielle Patterson's (Jib Girl) signature graphic and an Alert Camber profile. Despite the soft flex, carving and pop performance are excellent, and urethane sidewalls give it high durability.
It's an all-round freestyle board especially suited to beginner-to-intermediate riders who mainly enjoy the park.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
Public's 'Alert Camber' profile: positive camber between the inserts provides stability and pop, while rocker outside the inserts (at the tips) makes powder floating and pressing easy — a hybrid camber construction.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A soft flex giving a playful, forgiving feel, but response in turns and carves is better than expected — it isn't merely a mushy board.

What the review liked
- ✓Soft yet with sufficient responsiveness in turns and carves
- ✓Good pop performance off park features, jumps and landings
- ✓Urethane sidewalls give high durability against rails and rock strikes
- ✓Versatility to be used across varied terrain from park to groomers and powder
What the review found lacking
- —Insufficient stiffness for advanced riders or those who prefer a hard flex
- —A wider waist than typical boards means some riders will need to adjust
