The Yonex Symarc is a carving board combining a hammerhead shape with a triple sidecurve. Torsion is softer than the Thrust, producing a sharp, agile cutting feel and responding to fine edge adjustments. It suits carving riders who prioritise responsiveness and handling over stability.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid camber
A hammerhead shape with a triple sidecut and EASYRIDE CAMBER applied. Flat zones at both the nose and tail make turn initiation smooth and edge control easy. It keeps the board from getting unruly even at speed.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A hard 8 out of 10, but torsionally softer than the THRUST. That lets you fine-tune the edge despite the stiff flex, so response is agile.
Where it shines
Who it suits
For intermediate to advanced riders. The most accessible of YONEX's three carving models, though it still requires a solid back-foot position.
Good
