The Never Summer Proto Type 3 is the archetype of the one-board quiver that does everything well. Recurve camber carries forgiveness and pop together, and hardpack grip is particularly excellent while it stays catch-free in soft snow. It's the safest choice for intermediate and above riders who want to handle the whole mountain on one board.

Never Summer's Recurve profile — camber-dominant, but with early rise and mellow bends that secure forgiveness. It keeps camber's pop and stability while reducing the sense of catching an edge.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A medium flex at 6 out of 10. It softens toward the tip and tail, the camber section is stiff and the area between the feet is strongest. That distribution delivers forgiveness and pop at once.

Who it suits
A determined beginner can learn to ride it, but its real domain is intermediate and above. Predictable and accessible in character, it covers intermediates through experts broadly.
