This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
An all-mountain freestyle board that puts an asymmetric twin shape on a C2X hybrid. The asymmetric sidecut and centred stance make switch riding comfortable, and Magnetraction gives it good grip on icy snow, making it strong for hardpack park.
Powder float and jibbing are unremarkable, so it suits upper-intermediate riders who ride park and mountain around switch riding and jumps.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid rocker
GNU's C2X profile — rocker between the feet with medium-strength positive camber under each foot. It's an asymmetric twin with a centred stance, and the asymmetric sidecut makes riding switch easier than on a standard twin. Magnetraction edges handle grip on icy snow.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex — a distribution balanced between agility and stability, easy to handle in the park while the camber underfoot keeps pop alive.

Rider levels suggested in the review
Intermediate · Advanced
Forgiving enough to cover a broad range, but it fits intermediates to advanced riders in particular. It's best for riders with a centred stance who ride switch as much as regular, and for those lapping park in hardpack-to-icy conditions.
What the review liked
- ✓Excellent switch riding and jumps — the asymmetric sidecut balances both directions
- ✓Magnetraction gives it good grip on chopped-up, frozen snow
- ✓Very quick turn initiation regardless of snow conditions
- ✓Carving and speed are respectable and it handles the pipe well
What the review found lacking
- —The twin shape means unremarkable powder float
- —Jibbing is middling
- —Rocker between the feet means it doesn't lock in like a camber board at very high speed
