A swallowtail board specialised for powder float through a 3D base and a thick big nose. You can make tight turns by weighting the back foot, but it demands a flat or forward-leaning stance, so it feels different from a conventional powder board. It's close to backcountry- and powder-only.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid rocker
A construction combining a thick 3D nose with a convex, hull-like sole. The sidecut is loaded toward the rear, so pressing with the back foot produces tight turns. A swallowtail shape with an extremely wide big nose handles powder float.
