20/21 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A swallowtail board specialised for powder float through a 3D base and a thick big nose. You can make tight turns by weighting the back foot, but it demands a flat or forward-leaning stance, so it feels different from a conventional powder board.
It's close to backcountry- and powder-only.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid rocker
A construction combining a thick 3D nose with a convex, hull-like sole. The sidecut is loaded toward the rear, so pressing with the back foot produces tight turns. A swallowtail shape with an extremely wide big nose handles powder float.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex at 6 out of 10. A thick nose construction gives a strong sense of float, and 3D shaping keeps snow contact smooth.

For intermediate to advanced riders. You ride it flat or leaning forward rather than sitting back, so it feels different from a typical powder board.
What the review liked
- ✓The extremely wide big nose and thick 3D construction give overwhelming powder float
- ✓The convex base smooths contact with the snow for good handling
- ✓The sidecut is loaded toward the rear, so weighting the back foot allows tight turns
- ✓Ultralight dry carbon keeps it light
What the review found lacking
- —Extremely powder-specialised, so versatility on groomers is low
- —It won't deliver its performance in the backseat, so it takes adapting to
- —Not remotely intended for park or jibbing
