The Nidecker Sensor Team is an all-round freestyle twin combining a camber-dominant profile with a carbon layup, and its greatest strength is excellent pop and energy response. A mid-wide waist lets it perform excellently not only in the park but also in groomer carving, making it a board usable broadly from high intermediates to advanced park riders. That said, without Sidekick tech, buttering ease is somewhat lower than the standard Sensor, and if you want a jibbier feel, sizing down is worth considering.
Base shape (camber)
Hybrid camber
A profile that is positive-camber dominant across nearly the whole length, but with a slight rocker release at the tips near the contact points, tuning it a little softer than traditional camber — a hybrid camber layout.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A medium flex slightly stiffer than expected, leaning a touch to the stiff side of medium, which provides stability and means butter tricks require deliberate loading. Torsional flex is similarly moderately solid, matching the tip-to-tail flex.
Where it shines
Who it suits
It suits everyone from high-intermediate riders entering the park to experienced park riders; a slightly stiff medium flex and camber-dominant character may make it somewhat hard for beginners to handle.

- ✓A 26cm waist width (mid-wide level) enables deep carves and Eurocarves without worrying about heel/toe drag
- ✓It shows high versatility across varied terrain including park, groomer carving, rollers and side hits
- ✓The Absorb topsheet effectively damps chatter and smooths out the ride
Not so good
- —Without Sidekick tech (base/edge bevel), catch-freeness and buttering ease are lower than the standard Sensor
- —A slightly stiff flex at the 156 size means technical butter/press tricks need more force
- —As a typical freestyle twin, it has limits in extreme freeride situations
