The Nidecker Astral is a women's all-mountain board putting a directional twin on a CamRock hybrid. Turn entry and tree sections are good and switch is comfortable, making it good for riding everything on one board, and above all the value for money is good. On the other hand it chatters as speed builds and it's weak in deep powder and on rough landings. It's for intermediate-to-advanced riders who look at versatility and price over premium performance.

Nidecker's CamRock — a hybrid with camber as the base and rocker at the tips. A directional twin shape with an extruded (N-5000) base keeps the price down.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A medium-soft flex at 5 out of 10. Turn initiation is good and catching is rare, so it's easy to handle. That said, if a landing isn't clean the nose and tail bend excessively, so it can't really be said to hold up.
