25/26 season review

The Good RideRead source
#powder

It has a very similar shape to the brand's freeride model but with its high-end construction and full camber. It is less forgiving and less floaty, but you get a much more dynamic, poppy and energetic feel underfoot.

It does not have the best base glide, the strongest grip or the easiest float in powder, yet everything else about it is super fun — satisfying to turn and fun to ollie.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Camber

A tapered directional shape with full camber — very similar in shape to the brand's freeride model, but with its high-end construction.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

7/10

Medium-stiff, with a dynamic, poppy, energetic feel underfoot, though buttering is not easy.

#carving#flex

An all-mountain freeride deck built on traditional camber and a directional design, capable of handling terrain from carving to park and sidecountry with precision. Triaxial glass and Spectral Braid technology provide torsional stiffness and a lively ride feel at once, and its 7/10 flex strikes an excellent balance between playfulness and stability.

It's a model to strongly recommend when intermediate and above riders want to explore varied terrain on one board.

A 7/10 stiffness and traditional camber construction demand precise control, suiting intermediates and up. You need the ability to handle varied terrain — park, groomers, sidecountry — with confidence.

What the review liked

  • ✓Triaxial glass and Spectral Braid technology deliver excellent torsional stiffness and energy
  • ✓The traditional camber construction provides strong edge grip and precise control when carving
  • ✓Despite being an all-mountain board, it has good pop and high landing stability in the park
  • ✓The directional design with a slight setback realises a surfy, natural stance

What the review found lacking

  • —Its all-mountain character limits dedicated powder and deep-snow performance
  • —The 7/10 stiffness can be somewhat demanding for complete beginners
