The Ogasaka XC-R is a model that greatly strengthens carving performance by designing the XC series' sidecut deeper — after loading the nose, the sidecut engages strongly, making deep, stable carves easy to produce. With no metal reinforcement it's light and supple, covering everything from gentle to steep pitches and from moderate to high speeds. It's a board strongly recommended to intermediate and above riders who want stable carving.

Presumed to be in the traditional camber family, with the sidecut engaging deeply at the nose for strong carving performance. It's the XCR model, designed with a deeper sidecut radius than the XC series.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
With no metal reinforcement, it's light and flexible in motion. It isn't heavy for a carving board, and it has enough stiffness that the nose doesn't dive even on soft snow.

Who it suits
A design that makes stable, deep carves easy, suiting intermediates and up. It covers a broad range from low-to-medium speed to high speed, so it's recommended for intermediate to advanced riders.
