The Rossignol XV Slashimi is an all-mountain board for advanced riders who enjoy speed and technical terrain, with strong edge holding and pop as its main strengths. It shows its worth the more speed builds, but it isn't suited to low-speed riding or buttering and trick-focused riding. It's a board that fits riders who want stiff, technical riding in the Xavier de le Rue style.

Hybrid camber
An Amptech Elite Rocker profile with camber between the feet, a long rocker section at the nose and a short one at the tail. It provides manoeuvrability in tight spots and stability between the feet at once.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A directional flex, designed stiff at the nose and slightly softer at the tail. Torsional flex is stronger than an average board's, making it stiff overall. Pop and energy return improve as speed builds.

Who it suits
Loading the board takes considerable force and speed, torsional stiffness is high and its stiff character suits advanced riders riding fast on technical terrain. Buttering and low-speed carving are difficult, so it isn't suited to beginners and intermediates.
