The Nitro Banker is a high-stiffness camber board specialised for banked slalom racing, with speed retention and excellent stability as its strengths. It's completely unsuitable for freestyle elements such as tricks, buttering and ollies, and versatility is very low, so it's recommended only to banked-slalom-dedicated riders who already own a varied quiver.

StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A very stiff flex from nose to tail. Torsional flex is extremely rigid too, making it very hard to twist, which translates directly into excellent stability. It isn't suited to buttering or ollies.
Where it shines
Who it suits
A stiff flex, high stability and a banked-slalom focus make it suitable for advanced riders who already have a quiver and for race-oriented riders. It isn't suited to beginners and intermediates.
Good
- ✓Outstanding performance on banked slalom courses — it holds hard on the banks and is optimised for speed retention
- ✓Extremely high stability — it lets you pick the line you want even in varied snow such as slush, with no wandering
- ✓Its flat-base-holding carving character minimises speed loss, and speed actually builds in medium-to-large carves
Not so good
- —Very poor ollie and pop performance — the return is weak relative to tail loading, making it unsuitable for air tricks
- —Buttering is effectively impossible; the flex is so stiff that attempting it isn't recommended at all
- —Extremely low versatility — utility drops across varied terrain such as park, freeride and powder, and it's subordinate to carving
- —The wide nose reduces agility somewhat in short, fast carves
