A short-wide all-mountain freestyle board whose greatest strengths are excellent damping and stable ride characteristics. It's versatile while being damper and more all-day-friendly, with excellent switch riding and capability across varied snow. Pop and ollie power are relatively lacking and grip has limits on icy snow, though, so it suits all-mountain and freestyle-centred riders more than performance park riders.

A hybrid camber profile with mellow camber underfoot and an equal amount of early rise ahead of the nose and tail.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A medium flex with a slightly stiffer tail and slightly softer nose. Overall there's no high pop or spring; it has an all-day-ride character with damping emphasised.
Where it shines
Who it suits
It can cover intermediates through experts, and its stable, forgiving ride means willing beginners can attempt a short-wide too. That said, grip has limits on icy snow, so it isn't suited to complete beginners.
Good
- ✓Very high dampness provides a stable all-day ride across varied conditions including rough snow, spring snow and irregular surfaces
- ✓Suited to switch and centred riding, with polished all-round performance among twin-oriented short-wides
- ✓Fast turn initiation, excellent carve turn quality when you use the sidecut, and good response however you weight it
- ✓The 4000 base extends waxing intervals and holds consistent mid-level speed with no extreme drop-off
Not so good
- —Relatively weak pop and ollie power leave jump and trick performance short of the Excavator and Dancehall
- —Grip limits on icy snow mean you need to tighten your turn radius on firm conditions
- —Heavier than competing models, so it isn't optimal for park and jib riding that needs light pop
- —Setback directional float in powder is inferior to the Excavator, and it isn't the first choice in low-angle powder
