The Wolle Nyvelt Fish, part of Salomon's Hillside Project, is a board for riders wanting to enjoy powder and carving at once, with a camber-based construction and a relatively soft flex that make it usable broadly from intermediates to advanced riders. Float and agility in deep powder are excellent, and hardpack performance is also good for its class of powder board. Recycled materials and a fast base under $1,000 make its value very high.

Close to traditional camber, with camber running nearly to the tail and a short tail. There's a degree of flex in the tail too, so it isn't a fully rigid camber.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Comparatively soft for a powder/fish board of its type. Unlike ultra-stiff powder boards, it has flex in the tail too, making it easy to handle.
Where it shines
Who it suits
It suits intermediates who can make proper turns through advanced riders. Unlike many comparable powder boards that lose performance on hardpack, its comparatively soft flex means intermediates can handle it well. It isn't suited to beginners.
