The Never Summer Proto Type 3 is the archetype of the one-board quiver that does everything well. Recurve camber carries forgiveness and pop together, and hardpack grip is particularly excellent while it stays catch-free in soft snow. It's the safest choice for intermediate and above riders who want to handle the whole mountain on one board.

A triple camber recurve profile. It's camber-dominant with the middle of the board arched upward, and camber pockets sit in three places: ahead of the front foot, behind the back foot and between the feet. Flat sections just before the contact points lift the nose and tail slightly, adding catch-free character.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A medium flex soft enough for park use, but STS pre-tensioned fibreglass and carbon stringers give it far better stability and responsiveness at speed and on rough snow than boards of comparable flex.
