25/26 season review
The Moss Snowstick SW EX is the swallowtail EXTRA model. The split tail digs into powder to produce float and manoeuvrability together, and a stiff flex keeps it stable on fast powder runs.
The 58-series and 62-series split in character between manoeuvrability and big turns at speed. It's a character that gives up switch riding and low-speed forgiveness.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Directional camber
The EXTRA version of the swallowtail shape. The split tail digs into the snow, delivering both release performance and manoeuvrability in powder.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
Stiffer than the base model, as is common to the EXTRA series. The 58 family leans toward manoeuvrability, the 62 family toward big turns and high-speed powder runs.

Intermediate · Advanced
You have to handle both the swallowtail feel and a stiff flex, so it fits intermediates and up. The longer the size, the more advanced its orientation.
What the review liked
- ✓The split tail digs into powder to produce float and manoeuvrability together
- ✓The EXTRA flex keeps it stable on fast powder runs
- ✓You can choose the character by size: manoeuvrability (58) or speed (62)
What the review found lacking
- —Being a swallowtail, switch riding is effectively impossible
- —Stiff, so low-speed forgiveness is low
