The Nidecker Thruster is a freeride-oriented all-mountain board providing excellent pop, snap and carving performance based on full camber and a carbon construction. It's optimised for intermediate-and-above riders who value speed and power and want to ride the whole mountain aggressively. It shows its worth in carving, powder and all-mountain freeriding rather than soft tricks such as buttering.
Base shape (camber)
Camber
A traditional full camber profile from the tail contact point to the nose contact point. It's pure camber with no rocker zones, and a Sidekick (3D nose) is added only at the nose to assist powder float.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Clearly stiffer than middle. Carbon runs from nose to tail, giving a flex that is fluid yet stiff overall. That said, torsional flex is comparatively supple relative to the overall flex, so foot steering is possible.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Full camber plus carbon construction means loading the board takes extra effort, and with no rocker zone to help during edge changes you have to control the edge yourself, suiting intermediate and above freeride-oriented riders rather than beginners.
Good

- —Nose butters need considerable weight transfer and the result isn't clean
