The Lib Tech Skate Banana is close to a dedicated park and jib board built on a rocker base. Forgiveness and playfulness come first, so it suits both learning beginners and jib-focused advanced riders. Conversely, it isn't a fit if you want carving, speed or all-mountain versatility.
Base shape (camber)
Rocker
Lib Tech's BTX continuous rocker profile. Versions from 2014 on reinforce stability between the feet somewhat, but the rocker character is fundamentally dominant. Magnetraction edges partly compensate for rocker's weak grip.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A soft-to-medium flex at 4 out of 10, which feels softer in practice than the spec suggests. Presses and buttering come easily, but chatter arrives early at speed.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Very forgiving, good for beginners to learn on and still fun for jib-focused advanced riders. That said, if you're after speed or carving it isn't the right fit.
