The Aloha No Ka Oi 157 provides a natural snowsurf-feel ride in all-mountain and powder terrain through a short effective edge, nose rocker and tapered design. The smaller sidecut radius toward the tail realises elegant long turns and sharp transitions at once, and despite being designed for low to moderate speeds it delivers plenty of carving grip in real riding, making it strongly recommended to intermediate and above riders. Following a 150-unit limited edition it's due to join the regular line-up, attracting a lot of attention.

The nose rocker starts relatively early, and the running length (effective edge) is set very short at 914mm on a 157cm board — a hybrid construction. It's designed to pursue powder float and natural edging at once.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Officially classified as a soft flex, but in actual riding it provides dependable stiffness. Edge grip is strong when carving and deep turns are possible, so in practice it corresponds to a medium flex.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Optimised for the low-to-medium speed range, its flex is soft but in actual riding it delivers ample responsiveness and carving performance, suiting intermediates and up. Specialised features such as a tapered shape and sidecut variation make it somewhat difficult for beginners.
Good
- ✓The nose-to-tail sidecut radius difference (9950 to 7000) makes the tail respond sharply late in the turn and makes the board easy to lift for dynamic transitions
- ✓The short effective edge (914 mm) combined with nose rocker gives excellent powder float and catch-free, natural edging
- ✓At 157 cm with a 14.5 mm taper, both length and width are well judged, giving it high all-mountain versatility
