25/26 season review
The Nidecker Gamma series is a mid-soft freestyle board combining a rocker-camber-rocker profile with an asymmetrical design, performing especially well on creative ground tricks such as rails and butters. Its soft flex and agile turn response optimise it for playful park riding, though big-jump landing stability is relatively lacking.
It's a technical, characterful board worth recommending to intermediate and advanced riders who enjoy creative freestyle.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
A rocker-camber-rocker (Cam Rock) profile: the centre camber provides pop and power while the rocker at both ends supplements floating and ease of turn initiation — a hybrid construction.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A mid-soft flex with a playful character suited to buttering, rails and ground tricks. Stability on jump landings can be somewhat lacking.

Intermediate · Advanced
A mid-soft flex suits intermediate to advanced freestyle riders who enjoy playful riding in park and on rails, while the asymmetric construction may be somewhat difficult for beginners.
What the review liked
- ✓The asymmetrical construction (longer frontside edge, shorter heelside edge) makes turn initiation and agile direction changes easy
- ✓The soft flex makes it outstanding for creative freestyle riding such as buttering, rails and ground tricks
- ✓It holds good edge grip in changing snow and has the agility for easy fast transitions
- ✓The CamRock profile secures sufficient pop and responsiveness despite being a soft board
What the review found lacking
- —Lacking landing stability on jumps places some limits on big-air park riding
- —The asymmetrical construction can feel odd on first ride and needs adaptation time
