A complete overhaul: a little more camber, a different shape, a much narrower stance location, a little taper and a little more directional. It is a very easy riding board, but the flex is massively softer — to the point where it could be a deal breaker for many looking for something in between the brand's directional twins and freeride boards.

A board that has chosen beginner-friendly playfulness in its recent overhaul. Its soft flex makes buttering and pop easy and hardpack grip has improved, but it gives up high-speed carving and advanced-rider capability.

A hybrid camber with slightly more camber toward the tail and a similar amount of rocker at the nose. Taper is increased over the previous version.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
3 out of 10 — very soft. It's softened dramatically from the previous generation, close to a jib-park flex, so butters and ollies are easy despite the directional shape.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Its main target is beginners to intermediates. Forgiving and stable, it's good for starting out, but it doesn't carry through to advanced level the way the previous generation did.
