Expert reviews 1
The LTV is a camber board combining a soft flex with light weight, and its greatest strength is that riders with less muscle strength and women riders can handle it easily. It favours camber's signature rebound and securing air height, suiting freestyle and park riding. That said, riders used to double camber or rocker boards may need some initial adaptation.
Base shape (camber)
Camber
A traditional camber construction with strong rebound and excellent edge grip. Riders used to double camber boards may find it somewhat stiff, but among standard camber boards it's on the softer side.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
A soft-to-medium flex with a soft centre and springy nose and tail. Further weight reduction over last year makes it easy to handle in the air; it feels slightly stiffer than a double camber board, but it's soft by standard camber board measures.
Where it shines
Who it suits
A soft flex and light weight make it easy to handle even for riders with less strength and for women riders. That said, beginners used to double camber may need some initial adaptation, and it suits riders who normally ride camber boards.
Good
- ✓Light weight makes in-air handling and pulling the board (grab tricks such as indies) easy
- ✓The soft flex makes it easy to handle for riders with less strength and for women
- ✓It favours camber's excellent rebound and securing air height
- ✓Little edge catch and easy carving operation
- ✓Tricks such as dolphin turns are easy to perform with good catch sensitivity
Not so good
- —Riders used to double camber or rocker boards may find it relatively stiff
- —Rebound is somewhat on the weaker side among traditional camber boards
