Really chattery for a rider at 185lbs, but for riders at 150lbs or less it was a fun turning, very versatile board. The base glide is exceptional and the flex is excessively poppy. The recommended weight range looks wide, but in practice the ceiling feels more like 170lbs.

Directional camber
A tapered directional camber with the same shape as the brand's freeride model. The taper is not so much that it feels washy.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Medium-stiff but very dynamic and excessively poppy, and it butters easily for riders of any weight.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Intermediate and up, though it really suits riders around 150lbs or less.

Not so good
- —The weight savings came at the cost of dampening, so it gets really chattery in uneven terrain for heavier riders
- —Heavier riders can only hold an edge in perfect snow
A directional camber board pursuing weight savings and high-performance freeriding at once, delivering outstanding performance in high-speed carving and powder. It provides plenty of damping and powerful pop despite the low weight, but it isn't suited to freestyle tricks — it's a board for advanced freeriders who enjoy speed and carving. The high price can be a burden, but for its target user it delivers very satisfying performance.

Directional camber
Jones's directional camber construction, applying a long rocker at the nose, camber underfoot and a short rocker at the tail. It maintains traditional camber's pop, snap and drive while the nose rocker improves ease of turn initiation and powder float.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Stiff overall, with a comparatively soft nose stiffening progressively toward the tail. Torsional flex is very stiff and highly responsive. It sits on the stiff side of the freeride spectrum but isn't a full death plank.
Where it shines
Who it suits
A board whose responsiveness peaks at speed; its stiff flex and high response make it hard for beginners and intermediates to handle. It suits advanced riders who enjoy speed and work the edge actively.
Good
- ✓Despite the ultralight construction, it provides plenty of damping on edge for stable riding
- ✓Responsiveness and power increase as speed builds, with strong pop and spring when you load the camber
- ✓Traction Tech 3.0 grip and ankle steering let you dig deep trenches when carving
- ✓The ultralight construction reduces fatigue and favours long days
Not so good
- —Nose death flap can transmit vibration on rough (rutted) snow
- —Unsuited to freestyle tricks such as buttering and pressing, and the camber-rocker boundary makes nose presses feel awkward
- —Slow, non-immediate carving engagement outside the front foot means nimble turns take adapting to
