The Salomon Abstract is a true twin park board for freestyle riders centred on jibbing and buttering, delivering excellent playability on ground tricks and park features thanks to a soft-medium flex and a Rockout Camber profile. Various technologies including Ghost Carbon Beams and Royal Rubber Rails give it excellent pop and damping for a soft flex, but it has limits on large jumps and in high-speed carving. It's a board to recommend strongly to intermediate park riders, especially those who enjoy butters and jibs.

Salomon's 'Rockout Camber' profile: two camber zones underfoot plus a flat section in the middle of the board give an overall camber feel, while reverse camber (rocker) at the tip and tail adds press leverage and forgiveness — a hybrid construction.

Slightly softer than medium, with a strongly playful, lively feel that especially favours butters and ground tricks. It provides a flex optimised for jib-focused park riding.

- —Stability is lacking with a washy feel on large jumps (25ft and above) and in high-speed riding
