An all-mountain/powder deck noticeably stiffer than its predecessor, the Aloha Vibes, with excellent speed stability and carving performance thanks to its Cruise Camber profile. Its high torsional stiffness and heavy flex make it demanding and physically taxing unless you're a heavier advanced rider. It's specialised for punching through powder crust and aggressive deep carving rather than buttering and tricks.

A Cruise Camber profile with rocker at the nose and camber through the rest. The camber section provides pop, snap and drive, while the nose rocker eases turn entry and improves powder float.
StiffnessHigher means stiffer
Clearly stiffer than medium. It's noticeably stiffer than the previous Aloha Vibe with a thicker core. Torsional stiffness is especially high, and a flex point ahead of the back foot can be used when carving. Overall it isn't plank-level, but it offers advanced-rider stiffness.
Where it shines
Who it suits
Torsional stiffness is very high and both buttering and carving require considerable weight and force, along with a nuanced way of handling it. It suits heavier advanced riders.
Good
- ✓High speed stability, with almost no chatter even through the nose rocker, and stable on groomers and rough snow alike
- ✓Excellent carving, with strong edge lock-in and slingshot carves using the flex point ahead of the back foot
- ✓Outstanding crust and powder penetration — it punches through powder under a hard crust most of the time
- ✓Amplid's distinctive sidecut geometry gives it excellent edge feel
Not so good
- —Buttering is very difficult, with both nose rolls and tail presses demanding excessive weight shift and effort
- —The stiff torsion makes it hard work and physically taxing in tight spaces such as tree runs
- —Limited pop height, making it hard to get big air off side hits and rollers
- —Only available in a single 156 size, narrowing the rider's options
