25/26 season review
A mid-stiff Step On boot that's strongest when you're carving and riding fast. Heel hold and impact absorption are good and it feels locked in, so it suits all-mountain riders who like speed on groomers.
The catch is that the tongue doesn't articulate, so it presses on your instep when you flex and you lose some board feel — the reviewer's biggest complaint.

What the review liked
- ✓Supportive at speed and on hard carves, and it damps out chatter from the snow well
- ✓Heel hold is firm, so your heel doesn't lift
- ✓The compact outsole means less board drag if you have big feet
- ✓True to size
What the review found lacking
- —The tongue doesn't articulate, so it presses on your instep when you flex — avoid it if your instep is sensitive
- —Board feel is limited and it feels sluggish at slower speeds
- —Not a match for presses and butters where you twist the boot
- —There isn't much you can adjust
