20/21 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A small powder/surf-style board with a wide surface area in a 142 size, whose strengths are fast, snappy turns and a surfy feel in powder. There's a steep learning curve — adapting to the setback position, the importance of front-foot control, and instability on bumpy snow — and it isn't a board for every rider.
It's a strongly characterful board recommended to experienced riders who prefer a slash/surf style and enjoy powder.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
A hybrid camber profile with a touch of camber underfoot that transitions into rocker toward the tips.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A light-feeling soft flex — soft enough that a stiff binding easily overpowers the board. It pairs better with soft, less responsive bindings.

Advanced
A steep learning curve — adapting to the setback stance, the importance of front-foot control, bucking on uneven snow — plus optimisation for a specific riding style make it unsuitable for beginners and intermediates.
What the review liked
- ✓Very fast, snappy turn response and agility
- ✓Its wide effective area for a 142 size gives you float to count on in powder
- ✓It provides distinctive, fun ride characteristics optimised for surfy, slashy riding
- ✓Pop from the camber and a light ride feel
What the review found lacking
- —Severe bucking and insufficient stability on bumpy snow
- —Poor pairing with stiff bindings, which overpower it easily
- —The setback character means a considerable learning curve
- —A board confined to a specific style, so versatility is low
